Creating Immersive and Impactful Experiences

The aim was to create an entirely new way to view and appreciate film that had the capacity to sweep an audience of tens of thousands of people into the emotion and drama behind some of the most popular movie moments in history. The audience were completely immersed in the experiential event, which combined HD projection, multi-colour lasers, a breathtaking pyrotechnic display and an original score performed by a 60-piece orchestra. When you get a call from the Vice President of Entertainment at Universals Studios you jump on a plane and go and meet the Universal team. Well LM Productions received that call and we set to work in designing an end of day show with the Universal and Thinkwell teams. We created four custom designed StratoSphereâ„¢ video domes that floated in the central lagoon at Universal Studios, Florida, which acted as a 360-degree stage for a night-time spectacular. The aim was to create an entirely new way to view and appreciate films that had the capacity to sweep an audience of tens of thousands of people into the emotion and drama behind some of the most popular movie moments in history. The audience were completely immersed in the experiential event, which combined building mapping and 360 video projections, powerful multi-colour lasers and a breathtaking pyrotechnic display together an original score performed by a 60-piece orchestra in a nightly show.
