A water feature designed and fabricated by LM Productions, in association with Cityneon, was installed at the entrance to the Oman Pavilion at the EXPO Milano 2015.
The incredible feature combined a sophisticated Arabic design with advanced kinetic elements controlled by the water flow.
At an impressive height of 7m, the sundial was fully functional and came to life every 15 minutes creating a fantastic show with special effects lighting and water jets.
The installation was perfectly suited to the entrance of the Oman Pavilion, introducing the theme ‘Harnessing Every Drop of Water’. The sundial was significant in educating visitors on the historical distribution of water, providing further information on the high resolution screens embedded into the exterior of the fountain.
